An integrated magnetic switch is packaged within the Tape & Reel (TR) in order to protect it against damage. For safety reasons, magnetic switches are packaged in TO-226-3, TO-92-3 (TO-226AA) (Formed Leads) packages. Switches of this type are capable of delivering 20mA as the maximum current when they are in use. It is necessary to have a 3 pin for the switches to work. This document contains 3 terminations. The switches should typically output 20mA of current. The device can theretically supply 11mA current when it is functioning.
