In order to protect the magnetic switch from damage, it is packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) enclosure. As a safety precaution, the magnetic switches are packaged in TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages. In order to be effective, magnetic switches can provide a maximum current of 4mA. Magnetic switches should be able to output 60mA at their maximum current.
