A protective Tape & Reel (TR) is applied to the magnetic switch in order to prevent damage. SOT-23W packages are used for safety reasons to protect magnetic switches. To ensure good performance, the magnetic switches are capable of delivering 4.5mA as the maximum current. In general, the switches should output 5mA of current.
