The magnetic switch is packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) to prevent damage. In order to protect the switches from damage, they are packaged in TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages. In order to achieve good performance, the magnetic switches should be able to supply 4.5mA as the maximum current.
