Designed to protect magnetic switches from damage, the Tape & Reel (TR) package contains the switches. As a safety precaution, the magnetic switches are packaged in TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages. Good performance is achieved by magnetic switches that can supply 8μA as maximum current. Magnetic switches should be able to output 2mA of current.
