BPV23FL Overview
These photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk to protect them from damage. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in Radial packages. When reverse-bias is applied continuously, the photodiodes are able to withstand only 60V voltage. A continuous voltage of 60V should not be applied to the photodiodes in reverse-bias mode. 2 pins are present on the photodiodes. There was the possibility that photodiodes in a circuit would emit 215mW heat. Photodiode operation should take place at temperatures below 100°C. However, the minimum operating temperature of the photodiodes should be set to -40°C. Photodiodes should have a reverse anode voltage of 60V. Photodiodes require an electric potential of 1.3V in order to conduct current. The photodiodes provided 60V when reverse-biased. Even in the absence of light input, a photodiode occurs 2nA current.
