An integrated magnetic switch is packaged within the Cut Tape (CT) in order to protect it against damage. For safety reasons, the magnetic switches are packaged in TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages. For good performance, magnetic switches can supply 2.8mA as their maximum current. A magnetic switch should only output 30mA current.
