PD438C/S46 Overview
A Bulk package protects these photodiodes from damage. A safety package containing the photodiodes is provided for their protection. A continuous reverse-bias voltage of 170V should not be exceeded by the photodiodes. Photodiodes have pins 2. It is generally recommended that the maximum heat released by photodiodes should be 150mW in a circuit. In the DC circuit, photodiodes can be operated correctly with reverse voltage of 32V. Even in the absence of light input, a photodiode occurs 5nA current.
