PDB-C617-1 Overview
To protect these photodiodes from damage, the Tray is used. In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in Die packages. As long as the photodiodes are operated continuously in reverse-bias mode, the maximum voltage they can tolerate is 75V. Photodiodes in reverse-bias mode should not continuously exceed 75V. Despite the absence of light input, a photodiode generates 65nA electrical current.
