As a protective measure, these photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk. To ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-18-2 Metal Can packages. The maximum voltage that the photodiodes can tolerate in reverse-biased mode is 50V over a continuous period of time. During reverse-bias operation, the photodiodes should never exceed 50V. A photodiode occurs even at 100pA current without light input.
