SD5421-002 Overview
It is important to note that these photodiodes are packaged in Bulk to prevent damage. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-46 packages. Continuous reverse-bias means the photodiodes can withstand only 75V voltage. Continuously reverse-bias the photodiodes shouldn't exceed 75V. Photodiodes have pins 3. There is a possibility that the photodiodes could release 150mW heat within the circuit. In order for photodiodes to operate, the temperature should not exceed 125°C. However, the photodiodes should be operated at a minimum temperature of -55°C. It is generally recommended that the maximum heat released by photodiodes should be 150mW in a circuit. In the DC circuit, the photodiodes can function properly with a reverse voltage of 75V. The photodiode operates at 20nA current even in the absence of light input.
