TPS54620RGYR Description

The TPS54620RGYR is a synchronous Step-down Converter optimized for small designs through high efficiency and integrating the high-side and low-side MOSFETs. More space is saved by using current-mode control, which decreases component count, and by selecting a high switching frequency, which minimizes the inductor's footprint. The SS/TR pin controls the output voltage startup ramp, allowing it to operate as a stand-alone power supply or in tracking circumstances. Power sequencing is also feasible by configuring the enable and open drain power good pins correctly. The high-side FET's cycle-by-cycle current limiting safeguards the device in overload circumstances and is supplemented by a low-side source current limit that prevents current runaway. A low-side sinking current limit is also present, which disables the low-side MOSFET to prevent excessive reverse current. When the die temperature exceeds the thermal shutdown temperature, the part is disabled.
