A3240ELHLT-T Overview
In order to protect the magnetic switch from damage, it is packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) enclosure. A safety precaution is taken by putting the magnetic switches into SOT-23W packages. A magnetic switch can supply a maximum current of 6mA if it is well designed. In operation, these switches can output a maximum current of 25mA. Switches are operated by 3 pins. This has 3 terminations. As a general rule, switches should output a current of 25mA. It should supply a maximum voltage of 24V when it is functioning. In order to provide reliable performance, this switch normally supplies voltage 12V. In this case, the minimum voltage supplied by the magnetic switch can be 4.2V.
