It is protected against damage by being packaged in a Tube. As a safety precaution, the magnetic switches are packaged in 8-TSSOP, 8-MSOP (0.118, 3.00mm Width) packages. A magnetic switch is capable of supplying 9mA as the maximum current for maximum performance.
