As a safety precaution, current sensors are placed in 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) packages. A protective Tape & Reel (TR) is placed over these current sensors in order to prevent damage to the devices. It is recommended that current sensors provide a current that is not greater than 5.5mA. Current sensors have terminations of 8. A current sensor like this has 8 pins. When they operate, current sensors can supply 3.3V voltage.
