In order to prevent damage, the magnetic switch is packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). For safety reasons, the magnetic switches have been packaged in 4-SSIP packages. A magnetic switch with good performance can deliver 12mA as its maximum current. The maximum current that can be produced by these switches is 25mA. 4 pins are required for the switches to function.
