BPW24R Overview

To prevent damage to these photodiodes, they are packaged in Bulk. In order to ensure their safety, the photodiodes are packaged into Radial, Lensed Metal Can, TO-46-2 packages. It is possible for the photodiodes to withstand 60V voltage in reverse-bias mode on a continuous basis. When reverse-biased, the photodiodes should not continually exceed 60V. There are 2 pins on the photodiodes. Photodiodes on a circuit are capable of emitting 210mW heat. In order for photodiodes to function, the temperature must not exceed 125°C. In spite of this, the photodiodes should be operated at a minimum operating temperature of -40°C. A reverse anode voltage of 60V should be applied to the photodiodes. In general, the maximum heat released by the photodiodes should be 210mW in a circuit. With the reverse voltage of 60V applied to the DC circuit, the photodiodes can work normally. Ensure that the breakdown voltage of the photodiode is the same as 200V. Despite the absence of light, photodiodes make 2nA current.
