BPW34FS Overview
Photodiodes are protected from damage by the Tape & Reel (TR) package. It is necessary to place the photodiodes into 2-SMD, Gull Wing packages in order to protect them from damage. It is considered that the maximum voltage the photodiodes can withstand in reverse-bias mode is 16V. When the photodiodes are reverse-biased, the voltage should never exceed 16V. A photodiode is equipped with 2 pins. There was the possibility that photodiodes in a circuit would emit 150mW heat. In order for photodiodes to function, the temperature must not exceed 100°C. However, the photodiodes should be operated at a minimum temperature of -40°C. Photodiodes should have a reverse anode voltage of 32V. In order for current to flow across a photodiode, the voltage must be 1.3V. The photodiode operates at 2nA current even in the absence of light input.
