DRV8305NPHPR Description

The DRV8305NPHPR is a 48-pin HTQFP three-phase gate driver with a current shunt amplifier. The DRV8305NPHPR is a three-phase motor-drive gate driver integrated circuit. Three high-accuracy and temperature compensated half-bridge drivers, each capable of driving a high-side and low-side N-channel MOSFET, are included in the device. Three bidirectional current-shunt amplifiers with variable gain settings and an adjustable offset reference are included in the DRV8305NPHPR for accurate low-side current measurements. When switching, the gate driver uses automatic handshaking to avoid current shot-through. A voltage reference is included in the DRV8305NPHPR gadget. The internal LDO has been disabled on the VREG pin, and it is only utilized as a voltage reference input for the amplifiers and SDO pull-up. The SPI offers thorough fault reporting, diagnostics, and device configurations like current shunt amplifier gain options, individual MOSFET overcurrent detection, and gate-drive slew-rate control.
