Photodiodes are protected from damage by the Bulk package. To ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in Radial packages. When reverse-biased continuously, photodiodes can withstand a maximum voltage of 32V. The voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 32V in reverse-bias mode on a continual basis. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 10nA current.
