The microprocessor is conveniently packaged in PLCC, making it easy to ship internationally. High reliability is provided by the advanced packaging method Bulk. The CPU operates at a frequency of 16MHz. 84 pin functions are described in the datasheets. CPU microprocessors shouldn't be used in environments above 85°C. With the Surface Mount mounted, this CPU is widely used in a wide range of applications. In order to function, the embedded microprocessor must be set to 5V. It is 5V on the CPU's core. A voltage greater than 5.5V should not normally be applied to the embedded microprocessor. The lowest voltage fed to the CPU microprocessor should be 4.5V.
