A Tape & Reel (TR) package is used in this voltage regulator to optimize performance. Throughout this voltage regulator, there are 6 terminations. There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHING REGULATOR ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. For space-saving purposes, this voltage regulator is available in the 6-UFBGA, WLCSP package.
