L5973D Description


The STMicroelectronics L5973D is a step-down monolithic power switching regulator with a minimum switch current limit of 2.5 A, allowing it to provide more than 2 A DC current to the load depending on the application conditions. The L5973D uses an internal P-Channel D-MOS transistor (with a type of 200 m?) as a switching element to avoid the use of a bootstrap capacitor and guarantee high efficiency.
