The linear amplifier is packaged in a TO-205AA, TO-5-8 Metal Can case which makes it easy for the consumer to handle. Buffer amps of this type are called General Purpose-types. Upon delivery, op amp ic is packaged in a Bulk case. It is estimated that there will be 8 terminations in the next few months. In this case, there are 8 pins on the board.
