LM2904N Description

The LM2904N is a low-power dual operational amplifier composed of two independent, high gain operational amplifiers (op-amps) with inbuilt frequency adjustment. It is intended for use in automotive and industrial control systems. The circuit runs over a wide voltage range using a single power supply. Split power supply operation is also conceivable, and the low power supply current drain is independent of power supply voltage magnitude.

LM2904N Features

  • Very low supply current drain (500 μA) - essentially independent of supply voltage

  • Low input offset voltage: 7 mV

  • Input common-mode voltage range includes ground

  • Differential input voltage range equal to the power supply voltage

  • Large output voltage swing

  • In the linear mode, the input common-mode voltage range includes ground and the output voltage can also swing to the ground, even though operated from only a single power supply voltage

  • The unity gain cross frequency is temperature compensated

  • The input bias current is also temperature compensated

  • Internally frequency compensated for unity gain

  • Large DC voltage gain: 100 dB

  • Wide bandwidth (unity gain): 1 MHz (temperature compensated)

LM2904N Applications

  • General signal conditioning and amplification

  • 4- to 20-mA current loop transmitters

  • Transducer amplifier

  • DC gain blocks

  • Conventional op-amp circuits

  • Active filters
