The LM2904N is a low-power dual operational amplifier composed of two independent, high gain operational amplifiers (op-amps) with inbuilt frequency adjustment. It is intended for use in automotive and industrial control systems. The circuit runs over a wide voltage range using a single power supply. Split power supply operation is also conceivable, and the low power supply current drain is independent of power supply voltage magnitude.
Very low supply current drain (500 μA) - essentially independent of supply voltage
Low input offset voltage: 7 mV
Input common-mode voltage range includes ground
Differential input voltage range equal to the power supply voltage
Large output voltage swing
In the linear mode, the input common-mode voltage range includes ground and the output voltage can also swing to the ground, even though operated from only a single power supply voltage
The unity gain cross frequency is temperature compensated
The input bias current is also temperature compensated
Internally frequency compensated for unity gain
Large DC voltage gain: 100 dB
Wide bandwidth (unity gain): 1 MHz (temperature compensated)
General signal conditioning and amplification
4- to 20-mA current loop transmitters
Transducer amplifier
DC gain blocks
Conventional op-amp circuits
Active filters
