LM2904P Dual Op Amp Description

The LM2904 dual op amp is made up of two independent, high-gain, frequency-compensated operational amplifiers that can run from a single power source over a wide voltage range. Split-supply operation is also allowed if the voltage difference between the two supplies is 3V to 26V and VCC is at least 1.5V higher than the input common-mode voltage. The low supply-current drain is unaffected by supply voltage magnitude.
Transducer amplifiers, dc amplification blocks, and all typical operational amplifier circuits can now be easily built in single-supply-voltage systems. The LM2904P, for example, can run directly from the common 5-V supply used in digital systems and readily provide the appropriate interface electronics without the need for additional 5-V supplies.
