Precision high-speed dual comparators are made in the LM119 series on a single monolithic chip. They are made to work with a variety of supply voltages, from a single 5-V logic supply and ground to a large range. Compared to products like the LM710, they have a higher gain and lower input currents. The LM119 can drive lamps and relays at currents of up to 25 mA and is compatible with RTL, DTL, and TTL thanks to the output stage's uncommitted collector. With stricter tolerances for offset voltage, offset current, and voltage gain, the LM319A offers greater precision than the LM319 standard.
The LM119 series are fully defined for power supply up to 15 V, despite being created particularly for applications requiring the operation of digital logic supplies. The series has a quicker response time than the LM111 but higher power dissipation. The LM119 is more adaptable than more traditional devices like the LM711, although they lack the high speed, wide operating voltage range, and low package count of the LM119.
