LM4040C25IDBZR Description


Shunt voltage references like the LM4040C25IDBZR are adaptable, simple to use, and suitable for a wide range of applications. The 2-pin fixed-output device may operate with any capacitive load and is stable without the use of extra capacitors. In order to guarantee a stable output voltage throughout a wide variety of working currents and temperatures, the reference also provides low dynamic impedance, low noise, and low temperature coefficient. The LM4040 has four output voltage tolerances, ranging from 0.1 percent (max) for the A grade to 1 percent (max) for the D grade, using fuse and Zener-zap reverse breakdown voltage trim during wafer sort. Designers are thus given a considerable deal of freedom to select the optimal cost-to-performance ratio for their applications.
