A Tube package is used in this voltage regulator to optimize performance. During the development of this harley voltage regulator, 8 terminations were made. As a matter of fact, the type of analog IC that this voltage regulator 12v is equipped with is called SWITCHING REGULATOR. For space-saving purposes, this voltage regulator is available in the 8-TSSOP, 8-MSOP (0.118, 3.00mm Width) Exposed Pad package. A total of 1 outputs are configured in this voltage regulator. As you can see, this DC DC switching regulator generates Adjustable output on its output pins. A voltage regulator 12v such as this one fits the Surface Mount mounting bracket.
