The MCIMX6D5EYM10AD processor is the most recent development in integrated multimedia applications processors from Freescale Semiconductor. These processors are a part of a growing family of technologies with a multimedia focus that offer high-performance processing and are designed to consume the least amount of power possible.
The quad ARM? Cortex?-A9 core of the MCIMX6D5EYM10AD processor is a sophisticated Freescale implementation that runs at up to 1 GHz. They consist of integrated power management, 2D and 3D graphics processors, and 1080p 3D video processing. Each processor has a 64-bit DDR3/LVDDR3/LPDDR2-1066 memory interface in addition to several other interfaces for hard drives, displays, cameras, Bluetooth?, GPS, WLAN, Bluetooth?, and other peripherals.
