MPC8379EVRALG Overview
Since the microprocessor is packed in BGA, shipping overseas is convenient. In total, 689 terminations have been made. The microprocessor should be turned on and run with a voltage supply of 1V volts. A CPU operates at a frequency of 667MHz. Datasheets for 689 pin functions can be found here. Generally, data transfer takes place at a rate of 32b bandwidth. Temperatures above 125°C should not be used with the microprocessor. In many applications, this CPU is mounted with a Surface Mount bus. As the CPU reaches its top frequency, it will be at 667MHz. The CPU core voltage is 1V. Microprocessors should never be supplied with voltages above 1.05V in normalcircumstances. 950mV should be the lowest voltage fed to the CPU microprocessor.
