MSP430F2617TPMR belongs to the MSP430 family of ultralow-power microcontrollers composed of various devices with different sets of peripherals positioned for various applications. The battery life in portable measurement applications can be extended through its ultra-low-power architecture, combined with five low-power modes. It is available in the LQFP-64 package specifically suitable for medical imaging applications. The MSP430F241x devices are identical to the MSP430F2617TPMR, with the exception that the DAC12 and the DMA modules are not implemented.
