MTAPD-06-006 Overview
The photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk in order to prevent damage to them. In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-46-2 Metal Can packages. When reverse-biased continuously, photodiodes can withstand a maximum voltage of 160V. When reverse-biased, the photodiodes should not continually exceed 160V. Despite the absence of light input, a photodiode generates 50pA electrical current.
