In order to protect the photodiodes against damage, they are packaged in the Bulk. It is possible for the photodiodes to withstand 5V voltage in reverse-bias mode on a continuous basis. Photodiodes in reverse-bias mode should not continuously exceed 5V. Photodiodes exhibit 200nA current even in the absence of light input.
