OP980 Overview
To prevent damage to these photodiodes, they are packaged in Tape & Reel (TR). In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in SMD/SMT packages. When reverse-bias is applied continuously, the photodiodes are able to withstand only 60V voltage. In reverse-bias mode, the voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 60V continuously. Photodiodes have a pin count of 2. During operation of a photodiode, the temperature should not exceed 85°C. It should be noted that the photodiodes should be operated at -25°C as a minimum operating temperature. Current should flow across a photodiode at 1.2V voltage. Reverse-bias photodiodes can provide 60V voltages. The photodiode will operate at 60nA current even in the absence of light input.
