OP993 Overview

In order to protect the photodiodes against damage, they are packaged in the Bulk. It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in TO-18 packages for safety purposes. Continually operating in reverse-bias mode, a photodiode's maximum voltage is 60V. In reverse-bias mode, the voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 60V continuously. It has 2 pins for the photodiodes. Within a circuit, photodiodes could generate 100mW heat. It is recommended that photodiodes are operated at a temperature no higher than 100°C. However, the photodiodes should be operated at a minimum temperature of -40°C. In the case of photodiodes, the reverse anode voltage should be 60V. Photodiodes require an electric potential of 1.2V in order to conduct current. When the photodiodes were operated in reverse bias, they would supply the voltage 60V. Photodiodes exhibit 1nA current even in the absence of light input.
