OPA1678IDR Description




The dual-channel OPA1678IDR op amp outperforms traditional op amps frequently used in audio circuitry at the system level.

The OPA1678IDR amplifier has a low noise density of 4.5 nV/√Hz and low distortion of 0.0001% at 1 kHz, which improves audio signal fidelity. With a 2-kΩ load, these devices also provide rail-to-rail output swing to within 800 mV, increasing headroom and maximizing dynamic range.

The OPA1678IDR operates over a very wide supply range of ±2.25 V to ±18 V (or 4.5 V to 36 V) on only 2 mA of supply current to satisfy the power-supply limits of various types of audio equipment. Because the OPA1678IDR is unity-gain stable and has great dynamic behavior over a wide range of load circumstances, it can be employed in a variety of audio circuits.

Even when overdriven or overloaded, the OPA1678IDR amplifier uses totally independent internal circuitry for the lowest crosstalk and freedom from channel interactions.
