OPF422 Overview
The photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk to prevent damage. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-46-3 packages. Photodiodes can only withstand 100V in reverse-bias mode indefinitely. When reverse-biased, the photodiodes should not continually exceed 100V. Photodiodes have pins 3. There is a possibility that the photodiodes could release 200mW heat within the circuit. In order for photodiodes to function, the temperature must not exceed 100°C. But the minimum operating temperature for the photodiodes should be set to -40°C. ?A reverse anode voltage of 100V should be applied to the photodiodes. In reverse-biased mode, photodiodes could provide 100V. It is possible for a photodiode to produce 100pA even without light input.
