It is important to note that these photodiodes are packaged in Bulk to prevent damage. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into Radial, Side View packages. It is possible for the photodiodes to withstand 5V voltage in reverse-bias mode on a continuous basis. As long as the photodiodes are operated in reverse-bias mode, they should not exceed voltage 5V. 2 is the number of pins on the photodiodes. It is possible for a photodiode to operate at 1nA current even if no light is provided.
