PD15-21B/TR8 Overview
It is important to note that these photodiodes are packaged in Tape & Reel (TR) to prevent damage. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into 2-SMD, No Lead packages. Reverse-bias photodiodes should not be operated above 32V permanently. 2 pins are present on the photodiodes. A circuit should experience a maximum heat release of 150mW when photodiodes are used. If the reverse voltage is 32V, the photodiodes can operate properly in the DC circuit. A photodiode is capable of conducting 10nA current even without light input.
