PDB-C104-IL Overview
Bulk is used to protect the photodiodes from damage. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-46-3 Metal Can packages. In reverse-bias mode, the photodiodes are capable of withstanding a maximum voltage of 100V. A reverse-bias photodiode shouldn't exceed 100V continuously in reverse-bias mode. A photodiode is capable of conducting 150pA current even without light input.
