PDB-C170 Overview
Photodiodes are enclosed in Bulk to prevent damage. In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in Radial packages. When operating in reverse bias mode continuously, the photodiodes can withstand 100V voltage. It is recommended to set the reverse-bias mode for the photodiodes to not exceed 100V on a continuous basis. When operating photodiodes, the temperature should not exceed 80°C. In spite of this, the photodiodes should be operated at a minimum operating temperature of -40°C. Despite the absence of light, photodiodes make 200pA current.
