The Bulk protects these photodiodes from damage. It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in Chip with 34 Gauge BUSS Wire packages for safety purposes. The maximum voltage the photodiodes can withstand in reverse-bias mode is 75V. A continuous voltage of 75V should not be applied to the photodiodes in reverse-bias mode. It is possible for a photodiode to produce 30nA even without light input.
