Designed to protect these photodiodes against damage, these photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk. Photodiodes are packaged in TO-5 Variant, 2 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages in order to ensure their safety. A continuous reverse-bias mode can only sustain 100V voltage per photodiode. As long as the photodiodes are operated in reverse-bias mode, they should not exceed voltage 100V. You need a breakdown voltage of 75V to make sure photodiodes work. In the absence of light input, the photodiode exhibits a current of 10pA.
