As a protective measure, these photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in Chip with 34 Gauge BUSS Wire packages. It is considered that the maximum voltage the photodiodes can withstand in reverse-bias mode is 25V. A reverse-bias photodiode shouldn't exceed 25V continuously in reverse-bias mode. A photodiode conducts 40nA current without light input.
