To prevent damage to these photodiodes, they are packaged in Bulk. It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in Chip with 34 Gauge BUSS Wire packages for safety purposes. When photodiodes are continuously reverse-biased, the maximum voltage they can withstand is 25V. Continuously, the reverse-bias voltage should not exceed 25V for the photodiodes. It is possible for a photodiode to produce 500nA even without light input.
