PDG-V455 Overview
The photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk to prevent damage. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-5 Variant, 2 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages. It is considered that the maximum voltage the photodiodes can withstand in reverse-bias mode is 100V. A reverse-bias photodiode shouldn't exceed 100V continuously in reverse-bias mode. A photodiode occurs even at 10pA current without light input.
