PDU-C109 Overview
Photodiodes are protected from damage by the Bulk package. In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-233AA, TO-8-3 Lens Top Metal Can packages. When reverse-biased continuously, photodiodes can withstand a maximum voltage of 30V. The voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 30V in reverse-bias mode on a continual basis. Without light, a photodiode has 5nA current.
