To protect these photodiodes from damage, the Bulk is used. Photodiodes are protected by TO-5 Variant, 2 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages in order to ensure their safety. Continuous reverse-bias means the photodiodes can withstand only 75V voltage. A reverse-bias photodiode shouldn't exceed 75V continuously in reverse-bias mode. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 10pA current.
