PDV-V400 Overview
Photodiodes are protected from damage by the Bulk package. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-5 Variant, 2 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages. A photodiode can withstand a maximum voltage of 100V if it is continuously reverse-biased. When reverse-biased, the photodiodes should not continually exceed 100V. The current in a photodiode is 10pA even when there is no light input.
